Sharing ideas and knowledge

The analytics software attached to the website shows that many thousands of people in dozens of countries are reading the entries and many readers are posting links to the site or referring your friends and colleagues to it. I appreciate all of this as it makes the time taken to prepare the posts all the more worthwhile.

By all means, if you see a topic or article that you think will assist a colleague or client by all means share it. If it helps just one person each week, to my mind it is worth the effort. The bit that is lacking is the comments on the site. While I am getting many emails and phone calls, it would be better for all if you shared your thoughts in the comments area. By all means keep asking questions in the ‘Ask Me a Question” section.

Last week’s posting on products liability and product recall cover in particular certainly generated a lot of interest and got many brokers thinking and talking. This is what this site is all about. To pass on the lessons learned from situations that I see in my day to day handling of claims assisting brokers, insurers and ultimately the insuring public.
