Nearly missed a major milestone

Yesterday, my post urging everyone to complete the ClaimsComparison survey, was my 1,500th post to this blog. Little did I realise when I started this back in October 2011, that it would become so popular and valued by the insurance community.
I want to thank the many thousands of readers, either directly from this site or through Linkedin or Facebook. A special thanks to those that have left comments and helped by asking a question or suggested a topic should be covered.
I have learnt a lot myself, carrying out research on many of the queries and from the informed comments. To know that the community values the service is a source of genuine pleasure, especially when we have been able to right some misconceptions or have a poor underwriting or claims decision overturned.
I would like to have recorded some highlights but, with all that is going on at present with COVID-19, this will have to wait till my 2,000th post.
Thanks everyone for your continued support.
Congratulations Allan. We certainly appreciate your blogs here at Roderick’s. Keep them coming! Cheers from Marnie and the rest of the team at RIB.
Thank you, Marnie.
What a fantastic resource for the insurance community. Thanks Allan. Your impact on our industry has been extraordinary and is very much appreciated.
Congratulations Allan that’s a fantastic achievement! Your blogs are very informative, please keep up the great work, especially your continued commentary on FSL in NSW.
Thank you, Matthew.
I appreciate your words, Margo. Thank you.
I remain hopeful that through all parties urging / comments and requests that the NSW Govt see’s sense in amending the ESL to be collected via Rates instead of slugging those who choose to Insure. I read they are ” toying” with SD collections – another committee needs to be formed and a few reports put together , I’m sure. Thanks for you sharing your knowledge AM . Cheers Gary
What a fantastic effort, well done
