We are celebrating our birthday preparing yet another useful tool for the industry that we have called ‘The Market’. That will make 21 services in 21 years of operation and you will soon know more about it.
From very modest beginnings, literally from the kitchen table in my home, we now have eleven branches servicing every state and territory in Australia, as well as New Zealand and Singapore. We also have licensed affiliates in another dozen countries including the United Kingdom, the United States and South Africa.
Clearly, our organisation founded in the 20th Century –but with our eyes firmly on the 21st–, came up with some products that were in fact ahead of their time, such as ContinuityCoach. Which like every single part of our business, is in strong demand.
Besides developing ground breaking new products, and servicing our wide client base, we have also done a lot of lobbying for reform in areas such as the definition of flood, the removal of taxes on insurance, the Black Saturday bush fires, and most recently claims as a financial service. A favourite, is our desire to recognise and drive positive change in claims departments through the Mansfield Awards, which we could not do without our wonderful partner InsuranceNEWS.
It has been an extremely interesting –and at times whirlwind– period and Steve Manning, our CEO, and I, want to sincerely thank all those that have supported us and continue to do so.
We also wish to thank, from the bottom of our hearts, the fantastic team of experts that share our passion, commitment and values that have allowed us to deliver the quality and range of services that we do for the good of the insurance and broader communities.
Here is to the next 21 years of service to you!
