With so much emphasis on yet another COVID outbreak and lockdown it appears that many in the industry have missed that the annual survey of claims teams which counts towards the coveted Mansfield Awards for Claims Excellence and the star rating under ClaimsComparison.com .

Please note that every Australian Insurer and Underwriting Agency is able to win and or be awarded a star rating at no cost to them.

Back on the 5th May 2021, I provided a list of the insurers that were in the survey. A few were missing and we have added those again at no cost.

This latest lockdown in Melbourne has slowed our preparation for the Mansfield Awards themselves. We are all keen to go back to a live event if it is safe to do so and if not, we will revert to a virtual event like we ran last year.

The Mansfield Awards remains a not for profit event with the modest entrance fee to the live event and the much appreciated support of our sponsors have allowed us to continue the great work at the Amal Mulia Orphanage for handicapped children at Bengkulu, Indonesia. We will provide an update on this important work on the night.

Once a date and format of this year’s Mansfield Awards for Claims Excellence have been finalised I will let all readers know.
