As with bushfire management we need uniform rules on pool fencing

Yesterday I posted an article on the fact that we have such different rules between states when it comes to bushfire management, yet we all face the same risk.
During the same trip with the stupidity of such vastly different approaches to bushfire zoning still buzzing around in my head, I noticed the complete lack of fencing around the pool at the hotel.
I checked carefully if they used doors or some other barrier to prevent young children from falling into the pool but there was none.
In Queensland of all places I once again was staggered that they allowed this.
Each state has their own set of guidelines and rules on pool safety and again, not learning from each other.
