ANZIIF Insurance Broker Faculty Advisory Board
It certainly was the week for new ventures in respect of learning and development. In addition to the meeting covered in the preceding article, I was also pleased to be invited to sit on, and participate in, ANZIIF’s Insurance Broker Faculty Board (“IBFAB”).
This is a great initiative of ANZIIF and I look forward to contributing to the FAB. As part of my contribution, I offered the Institute to publish any of the articles in my blog and I see that they put up the first of these shortly after the meeting. The first one selected being the one on the effect of Carbon Tax on the cost of Reinstatement (see http://www.allanmanning.com/?p=1350). LMI and my own involvement in the Institute’s KnowRisk project will continue.
While not an insurance broker, I certainly have a lot to do with them providing a range of online services such as LMI PolicyComparison, RiskCoach, BIcalculator, PolicyCoach and ContinuityCoach. In addition, I provide technical advice and training, part of the latter being provided through the Institute’s Master Class program.
