A Couple more Internet Scams to be Aware Of

There is a couple of scam emails going around. One appearing to be from Australia Post, emailing you to advise they have a parcel for you. The email asks you to click on a link to arrange it to be delivered or picked up. I got one of these and immediately thought, “how would Australia Post know my email?”. I checked and it was all bogus.

The second one I heard about today. This one advises the recipient that they have been caught on camera speeding and that they need to “click here” to complete a form and provide your credit card details.

Please do not fall for these or similar scams. If in doubt, do not click on any link and, of course, be very careful to whom you  provide your credit card details.
