2026 Mansfield Awards and ClaimsComparison.com ratings
Last night was the 10th Mansfield Awards for Claims Excellence held at the Establishment Ballroom in Sydney.
The not for profit event in support of the Amal Mulia Orphanage for children with special needs was sponsored by Envest, Johns Lyng Group, Munich RE, Ignite Fire Investigations and LMI Group.
The night was dedicated to two exceptional professionals that sadly left us this year, Tim Wedlock and Max Salveson and whose great contribution to the industry will live on.
The night was hosted by Nathan Stemple while ta very fitting keynote address was delivered by Meg Long CEO McLardy McShane Partners.
This year saw one change to the traditional categories with the splitting out of Travel Insurance from the Specialty Lines Category to give other specialty classes recognition while highlighting the importance of travel insurance to the Australian insuring public.
The winner of the Purple Mansfield for going above and beyond was a heartwarming story demonstrating the very best of what insurance does for our clients.
Two new awards where introduced to recognise the great work that others within the industry but not working for an insurer perform and that do so much to help the insuring public in their hour of need. These being the Broker Team of the Year and the Loss Adjuster of the Year.
Finally, realising the importance of acknowledging those individuals that have devoted their career to the claims profession and who embody the principle espoused by Lord Mansfield a Lifetime Achievement Award was introduced with a true professional a very popular recipient.
