2021 ClaimComparison.com Star Ratings released

The focus last week was rightly focused on the Mansfield Awards for Claims Excellence. Those that are finalists and the ultimate winners of each award are determined from the results of the process that sets the star ratings on ClaimsComparison.com.

This year two new classes have been added, Aviation and Management Liability taking the number of classes of general insurance to 24.

The whole idea behind ClaimsComparison.com was to assist brokers in explaining, and helping the public to understand that insurance is not just about price, it is really about protection. At the time of a claim what really matters is the coverage afforded by the policy and the claims service.

LMI have been providing a detailed comparison of the features, benefits, conditions and exclusions with around 3,000 general insurance policies through PolicyComparison.com since 2003 and in hard copy form for 3 years before that.

ClaimsComparison.com was launched in 2013 as a free service to the Australian public.

It has been my dream for sometime to have the two products brought together for the convenience of brokers as a sales tool, Professional Indemnity protector and as a training tool.

I am pleased to say that this is now achieved and on PolicyComparison.com the top row of the policy comparison will show the star rating of that insurer in that class for the 24 classes that ClaimsComparison.com rate.

As with any row within PolicyComparison,com there is always the ability, via a check box, for the subscriber to hide the result.

We do hope that users find these services assist them in their important role of providing meaningful advice to their clients.
